The Gathering Plate: every 2nd Friday 12 noon

In August 2025 we commenced a community meal which we have named the Gathering Plate.   Anyone is welcome to join us, and while a small donation is appreciated it is not compulsory. As well as providing a simple, nourishing meal The Gathering Plate offers an opportunity for anyone who is feeling isolated to come and join the group for fellowship and conversation.

Life, the Universe & Stories:  Friday 2.00-4.00 pm

This is a relaxed social get-together that centres around the reading, reflection and discussion of great short stories and poetry.  The group is run onsite at the church by a trained facilitator.  It’s an enjoyable way to create social connection and do something good for your mental health.  Everyone is welcome, no matter what your level of interest in reading.  Just come along, feel free to read and chat, or just sit back and listen.

Missions Table:  2nd & 4th Sunday

Held after worship during our morning cuppa, baking, produce, craft, plants, etc are available for purchase.  Money raised goes to the outreach work of our Church.

Reconciliation Group: Bi-monthly 2nd Wednesday 2.00-3.30 pm

This group is our local expression of the Uniting Church’s commitment to meaningful relationships between First and Second Peoples based on truth-telling, justice, equality and mutual understanding.  Working through the Covenanting Pathways Toolkit prepared by the Synod of Victoria and Tasmania, we also support and participate in advocacy on issues which impact First Peoples where we can.  We are learning how the presence of God was understood to exist in the land prior to colonisation and recognise the resilience of First Nations Peoples in the face of past and continuing injustices.  We seek to contribute to healing of the people and land by unlearning false truths about colonisation and by increasing our understanding of our local Aboriginal communities and their culture in a deeper way.
